Seniors

The Rimbey & District Seniors Drop-in Centre was recently built next to the Kansas Ridge Estates development.  Anyone 55 and older is welcome to drop-in and attend the various programs and events.  The Drop-in Centre features many programs for Seniors including floor curling, dances and card games.

The Rimbey Curling Club has seniors curling on Thursday mornings and a Seniors Bonspiel in mid-February.  Striker's Alley offers seniors bowling on Monday and Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday mornings.

Rimoka Housing Foundation

The Rimoka Housing Foundation provides seniors housing and services in Rimbey.  They also provide low-income subisidies.  Please review the following link for a more detailed description of their services.

Families

The are a number of activities and support services available to families in Rimbey.  From September to the end of March, the Rimbey Arena offers free public skating regularly on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.  From June to the end of August, the Rimbey Swimming Pool offers family swimming times regularly throughout the week.  There are also many parks and playgrounds throughout Rimbey for families to participate in local leisure activities.

There are also a number of support services offered through Rimbey Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) including Families First, Youth Activity Program, and Parenting Support.
